A maior honra da noite, o Grande Prêmio Seumas McNally, garante ao time responsável uma recompensa de US$ 30 mil (cerca de R$ 161 mil). O vencedor da edição passada foi Consume Me; outros recipientes ao longo dos anos incluem Minecraft, Inscryption e A Short Hike.
Este ano, o favorito é Baby Steps, indicado ao Grande Prêmio e a cinco outras categorias. Baby Steps é um jogo do desenvolvedor Bennett Foddy, conhecido por títulos que brincam com a noção de movimento em games.
Além das categorias votadas por um júri, existe também o Prêmio da Audiência, atrelado a um cheque de US$ 3 mil (cerca de R$ 16 mil), cujo vencedor é escolhido pelo público. A votação estará aberta entre 12 e 25 de janeiro.
